Directions

From Route 303, head east on Bradley Parkway (County Route 38).  The park is on your left just before Nyack College. Access is from Bradley Parkway or through Buttermilk Falls Park's White Trail in West Nyack.

 

 

Park Overview

This park provides a short connector for the Long Path traveling north from Blauvelt State Park. 

Trail Overview

An 0.32-mile section of the Long Path (aqua) traverses the park, extending from Bradley Hill Road (County 38) to Towt Street. A 1.8-mile white-blazed trail connects this section of the Long Path with Buttermilk Falls County Park, passing through parklands of the towns of Clarkstown and Orangetown on the way.

Park Description

This park was dedicated in 2003 in memory of Sean Hunter Ryan, a Rockland County resident who died during a rescue attempt while serving as a park ranger at Mount Rainier National Park in the State of Washington.

There are numerous Red Oak, Chestnut Oak, Maple, Black Birch, Hickory, Witch Hazel, and American Ash.
