Park Overview

This park is divided into two sections: Tackamack Town Park North and Tackamack Town Park South. They are bisected by Clausland Mountain Road (Rockland County Route 28)

Trail Overview

The Long Path (aqua) passes through the park -- click for a detailed description where the Long Path crosses Clausland Mountain Road (see text at "mile 6.70"). In addition, there are several unmarked woods roads, a stream and a pond.

Park Description

Tackamack Town Park North provides access to to Blauvelt State Park. Tackamack Town Park South provides access to Clausland Mountain Park.
